sooooooooooooooooooo I just ordered a replacement euro spec cdi engine from treats now my ciao is actually possibly going to be functional not as adrian said "rid a bull or reliable"
winning at life i promise pictures i need a new camera for realziessssss   he also has the biggest headlight in the world and it beeps some kind of horrible when the batteries are low its the best.

The hobbit is ripping i had to clean the carb out about 100000000000000 times and it was a pain in the ass and thats lame. but its a ripper and i seem to keep getting cute girls to ride on the back of it so im fine with still owning a hobbit for now.........


the tomos is coming back soon i havent been buying a lot of parts but now i am so yeah!!!!!

Ok ok ok I Knooooooow I should have posted more.
Soooooooo in moped news around here. I got a new ciao... It's the deeeeeelux model. It had the not as awesome frame and springer forks. I got it super cheap so it'll do until I find a new square post frame (I might have a line on an awesome one). I got the current one (or As I'm calling it green) for $125 with a polini 64 kit and 16" wheels and a cross bar welded onto it for me. It's single speed right now and I'm looking for a kineti cdi for it currently. I'm going to pull the motor apart this week port it and rebuild it with my 42mm polini crank busting kit. I spent a good amount of time pulling excess metal off. That and pulling about 15 feet of wire out of it. It started first try when I got it but the points went out real quick. I've got a different newer set so I'll throw those in for now. I'm also getting a 24mm mikuni intake made for my simoni pinasco motor. I'm gonna run a 24 on it and go single speed until I get my whole variator set up together.

In other completely different news I got a hobbit...... Yes I Joe have a hobbit. It's got a camino variator a proma, clutch slings and boyseen reeds. All the cool guy hobbit stock tricks. I'm pretty happy with it. I've owned a few hobbits and always gotten rid of them instantly pretty much. This one I'm going to port one of the many hobbit cylinders I have and put it on there and make it an ultra stock super blaster. I will eventualy put a cdi on it but hobbit points are always rock solid.
I am giving away all my expresss pretty much. I gave the green one away and have promised a few others out. I'll keep the original orange one most likely.
I'll post some pics of the two new bikes sooooon I can't do it from my phone lame. I'll go to the compound and take some pics of jahs bikes too and put em up. He's got some pretty rad stuff cooking. Oh did I mention he's the new Uphill Battle captain! Yup yup pretty rad I know.

I got a scooter too it's a areo 50 with a spree motor on it. It's super lame. I've got plans for it too.

He has done a decent amount of work to it too. new points countless troubleshooting etc.

Ok ok I know I know it's been a while

It's been a slow moped month for me. I didn't do much since the C-word got stolen. I've been gettin back into it though. It looks like I will be racing a maxi. I am gonna put tomos forks and wheels on it. It's got points for now. I'll post some pics up soon Ive got a bunch from the last month. I even got 2 expresssssss bringing my total amount to 3. I sold my last ciao frame. It was a round post. I for the first time in 5 years I have no ciaos. The race motor will go on the Si. I should be able to get all my parts by the end of race season. Someone stole the C-word

Some asshole stole the C-word last night. I let fellow battler steely dan borrow it and he rode it up to 82nd and holgate here in Portland. He was in the store for less than five minutes and it was gone. I'm super bummer since that was my race bike and all. Hopefully I can piece something together by the start of the season.

Hoffman and I both helped Doss get a treats cdi on his e50 the other day. Super bright lights for sure.

Trapp got to ride his ped on a ride last night. He might have only been going 27 but he was super stoked. Its really awesome to see someone ride mopeds for the first real time.

Hes been doing a decent amount of work on this bike. Folsom installed some new points and condenser on it. Rob figured out some grinding issues under the flywheel, replaced the transmission for a euro one. He also put a pipe on it. POLINI COUNTRY BABY.  A labor of love for sure.

Josh and I have been jamming a lot more  at the shop recently. Shit got a little silly when i cut my hand open. Outburst Imperial IPA is our new muse and reason for this all.

Josh got a little heavy handed with his drum set the other day. womp womp. we have a show coming up soon so we have been writing some more material.

Yuip im vegan and make delicious pizza utilizing   Dayla  vegan cheese. Yeah yeah i know its not really cheese and silly as all hell but ive heard good things about it and decided to give it a try. It was a good Idea. I normally dont use too many fake products like that but a non vegan was eating it so I decided to go fancy with that shit.

I knew someone who wanted to do something real interesting with an express motor so I sold mine to him. I am going to put the extra urban motor that I have on it some time soon.

Folsom and I took the clutch apart on my SI so I could run it on my Ciao. It was a pain in the ass to get off. I figured out why though.

Ive got some good stuff planned and will post some more stuff up soon.
Some other things Ive been working on are: I put a phva carb on a stock Hobbit and it seems to be blasting. I just need to get it jetted. I am working on this ported stock ciao that is giving me endless shit. I just dont have the jet range I need for that kind of bike.
The C-Word has something wrong with the forks. It felt sketchy the other day so   I took the headset apart and redid the bearings. It was missing one on the top and there was a fine metallic powder in there. I am not sure how that happened but I put it all back together and it felt better for a day. Now its worse. I need to pull it all apart and re do the bearing in the front wheel and headset again and see if anything is bent. My frame is slightly bent these days its not bad but it isnt helping to have sketchy bent forks.  Since I have the welder here now I am going to make an intake for the simo case half so I can run my 24 Mikuni that I have laying around on it. Should be pretty nice. I put the euro clutch on Finally. I like it a lot more. I didnt notice less top speed at all. the stock Si motor with a simo circuit pipe and polini variator is hitting 37 on the flats according to my trail tech.  Ive got a lot more planned it will all come soon.
